FlightSpot puts nearby aircraft at the center of plane spotting.
The Vikorus app combines nearby aircraft information with a personal spotting log built around the airplane a user can actually see overhead.
Designed around the sighting
Many flight maps begin with all visible traffic. FlightSpot begins with a simpler question: what is that airplane overhead? It presents nearby flight information for plane spotters and aviation-curious users, then lets them keep a personal record of sightings.
Important limitations
Available aircraft data may be delayed, incomplete or unavailable. FlightSpot is for general information and enthusiast use. It is not intended for navigation, separation, surveillance or flight operations, and visual matching should not be described as guaranteed identification.

“FlightSpot begins with curiosity—the moment someone looks up and wants to know more about the aircraft they can see.” — Jason, app developer
